Ryan Cayabyab: Music Genius

Ryan Cayabyab is the also known as Mr. C. Aside from being a composer, he is also a conductor, accompanist, mentor and a music director.

He is also the brains behind different groups that shared a spotlight in the music industry. Some of these groups include Smokey Mountain, The San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ryan Cayabyab Singers.

He also garnered different awards from prestigious award-giving bodies. In 1978, he won the Grand Prize at the Metro Manila Popular Music Festival for the song "Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika".

Cayabyab also wrote songs that were given justice by some of the country's finest singers.

Because of his experience and his credibility, he was invited to become a judge in different singing contest such as Philippine Idol and Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 where he became the Head Master.

There are a lot of composers in the country today, however, I believe that when composers are the center of the talk, everybody would agree that Ryan Cayabyab is the best. When he speaks and give out his comments, every listens. They know that they would learn from this man. What a music genius!
