I used to tune in every Sunday morning in GMA 7 just to watch this magical girl which uses magical cards as her weapon. Her name is Sakura.
Sakura is a ten-year-old who will shortly be a fourth-grader when the series begins living in the fictional town of Tomoeda in Japan, near Tokyo where she attends Tomoeda Elementary School. She started her quest when she touched the false book entitled "The Clow" in her father's study. From then on, she was tasked to capture all cards and return it to the book. She is being accompanied by the guardian of the book named Cerberus who taught her how to use her powers. The only person eho knows Sakura's true identity is Tomoyo, a girl who is already for action with her camera to take shots of Sakura as she fights and capture the cards. In the course of the story, Sakura met characters who helped her in her mission such as Syaoran Li and Yue.
